The Economic Development & Planning office is collecting community feedback to help guide the development of Red Lake Nation. Your voice will help identify what is working well, what challenges need the most attention, and what improvements should be prioritized for the future. 

There are 7 active surveys regarding various topics of community programs. Each survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Scan the QR code or select the "Take Survey" button to complete each community survey through Google Forms.

ACTIVE Community Surveys

This survey focuses on Health Services, including clinics, hospital services, behavioral health, chemical health, peer support, public health, recreation and wellness programs, elder health, and addiction recovery services. When answering, please think about access to care, mental health, substance use treatment, prevention, wellness opportunities, traditional healing, and the overall health of the community.

This survey focuses on Human Services, including child welfare, family services, child support, housing support, elder services, food distribution, domestic violence services, vocational rehabilitation, the 477 program, and reentry or transitional support services. When answering, please think about family well-being, housing stability, food access, elder support, child and family services, and barriers that make it difficult for people to succeed.

This survey focuses on Administrative Services, including tribal administration, finance, human resources, planning, legal services, economic development, tribal credit, TERO, tribal enterprises, and information technology. When answering, please think about communication from leadership, trust in government, transparency, economic opportunity, job creation, support for businesses, and how well departments work together.

This survey focuses on Education Services, including schools, Head Start, early childhood programs, Red Lake Nation College, workforce training, youth programs, AmeriCorps, and language and cultural education. When answering, please think about student success, attendance, tutoring, after-school activities, workforce training, higher education, youth opportunities, and the role of culture and language in education.

This survey focuses on Public Safety Services, including law enforcement, fire and emergency response, EMS, courts, probation, reentry, emergency management, and community safety programs. When answering, please think about crime, domestic violence, emergency response, road safety, youth prevention programs, trust in public safety agencies, and ways to make the community feel safer.

This survey focuses on Infrastructure Services, including housing, roads, transit, water and sewer systems, utilities, broadband, agriculture, energy programs, weatherization, and public buildings. When answering, please think about housing needs, road conditions, internet access, transportation, utilities, food systems, infrastructure improvements, and what is needed to support future growth and development.

This survey focuses on Community Services, including community centers, recreation programs, parks, libraries, cultural events, youth activities, the Boys & Girls Club, event centers, and other community programs. When answering, please think about youth and family activities, cultural programs, community gathering spaces, recreation, events, and opportunities that bring the community together.
